Looking at part numbers and a few websites, it looks like the spindle nut used to adjust wheel bearing preload are interchangeable between 60 and 80 series. Doing an axle rebuild and missing an 80 spindle nut. Can anyone confirm? @cruiseroutfit?

I think they are all the same back to the 40s. I don't have a 60 handy, but my 40 and 80 look pretty close to the same. FWIW, the dealer should be able to get one next day.

Spindles nuts >1976 on 40s, and disc brake 60s, and all 80s are interchangeable.
