60 Vs. 62 A/C compressor (1 Viewer)

Are the 60 and 62 compressors interchangeable?

There are two different types, has something to do with the top plate where the hoses attach...I saw a pic, but can't remember the difference. I just replaced the one in my 62, the core I had was different...

On the 60, the forward hose attachment on the top is 90 degrees to the centerline of the block. On the other, it points forward at an angle.

If you force mo to, I could produce picture, but I am in a hurry.

Nope. The compressor, hose attachment plate, the clutch and the hoses are all different.
