I stopped in this exact spot a year ago to pee. Did you drive on up to top of rat creek. This area and wheeler pass just south of here are my favorite to see the sites and be away from people

No - we just did the Bachelor loop, then went north to camp near Middle Creek Rd. Later went to Lake City, Ouray, etc. and did Cinnamon, Engineer, Black Bear, and Imogene. We mostly stopped in Creede because it was such a long drive from Colo Springs.
