Hi guys. Thought I'd post some pics from the recent meet of our local 60 group. Officially we're 60 Series Owners WA, a Facebook based group for 60 enthusiasts located in Western Australia. It's a pretty friendly and supportive group that mostly exists online to provide technical support, advice, parts and the like to other 60-heads.

We don't get together that often and when we do it's always a bit of a challenge. A lot of us work FIFO and of course there are always rigs in various states of (dis)repair! We had six 60's attend and a very nice 105, belonging to a former 60 owner (who's currently looking for another).

Out destination for this little getaway was Wilbinga, which lies about 70k as the crow flies north-west of Perth. Access is from Indian Ocean Drive, with a myriad of awesome tracks and beaches all to be had within a vast area of sand dunes and bush, providing a great area for wheeling and camping.

As usual, I'll mostly let the pictures do the talking 😎

In search of then finding a camp spot. The lovely 105 belongs to @Hendrik, who is a 60 nut also. He was kind enough to play designated photographer for the weekend and spent a fair bit of time selecting and editing these awesome photos. All bar a couple of these pics are his. Thanks Henry!

Yes... yes... yes...
Damn... Western Australia not Washington State:flipoff2:
Haha yep. We have some excellent wheeling grounds over here. Kinda to be expected I guess in such a vast state. The area of Western Australia is about the same as Texas and Alaska combined...

Great photos - thanks for sharing! Love my 60 but MAN that 105 looks great.
That 105 is a beast, it's had a huge amount of work and mods. It has an L92 Vortec bored and stroked to 6.8 litres, amongst many other things. It flew up those dunes and left some of us with a little V8 envy 🤣

Henry is a perfectionist and everything on it is done just right.
