So I found these mirrors on ebay, they look like a combination of 60 and 62 mirrors. I was wondering if anyone knows if they are for maybe a 70 series? Also does anyone have a picture of a 60 series running these?

Don't 70 series mirrors fit on 60 series? Or did I hear that wrong? Those are 70 series mirrors.

I just like the shape, I was thinking since they are so cheap I would buy them and mod them to just be a bit tougher. If those are OEM Toyota, you're probably ok, but if they are Chinese reproductions, you might not like the vibrations and general cheapness of them.
Just curious but what how were they annoying? Did they just shake a bunch?I’d beware of the cheap knockoffs. Speaking from experience. I thought I could toughen mine up, too. 5 years later, they manage to annoy me almost every time I drive.

Yeah, im having a similar problem with my OEM ones. I wonder if the housing could be beefed up with a little metal to add some support?Mine are not the exact same, but similar. They shake and flop around right out of the box. I took them apart and tightened, and sealed every possible fastener inside (there are not many of them). You can only go so tight given the amount of plastic that makes up the structure, and they need to have some movement so that they don’t break off every time you hit a tree branch.
So they continue to flop around, particularly the passenger side and particularly when I go over 50 mph.
The takeaway is that they never seem to be where you want them to be.
