Anyone know of any cash for clunker trade-ins that went to local salvage yards. I need a fj60 frame

I'm not good with 60's vs. 62's, but there what appears to be a twin to yours on StL Craigslist for 1600 obo. It's been on an off for a while now. You may be able to get him much lower since he obo'd it...

it's a 573 cell number, so it may be located between us.

I checked with my guy and he is unaware of any junkyard trucks that aren't complete trucks.

Its a 62. 4 square lights vs 2 round. Fastest way to tell. Frame is different.

Isn't a 62 an automatic transmission?

Yep, but thats hard to see from a pic or drive by. The head lights are a dead giveaway .

Unless someone got tricky with a swap. I always liked the square light look on certain trucks. The round lights were a homage to the old style and the square a step toward modern(along with the auto tranny and probably a few more refinements).
