Yes, opening the 1/2" to 3/4" will leave 3/16"+ on one side and 5/16"+ on the other.

I've looked at them and the length of the mount will be too long in the placement I have mounted the others; causing shaking and potentially chipping the paint on hatch and body.

So, as of right now, they are not in the works until I can get another look at things.

I assumed that was the case based on the shaping of the rear glass and tailgate. Neither of the bumps stops are in particularly favorable spots either. I was hoping you saw something I didn’t.
