Question: is it my imagination or are your tires "thinner" than mine??? Any added benefit if so? Better MPG? Quiter ect....hadnt noticed till this pic.

Absolutely amazing. When I grow up??? Incredible work Kelly.This is what I was able to accomplish. The body lines look straight, the panel correct without any wavy areas or low/high spots. This is the tricky part, to get the steel the right shape, so that the filler is minimal thickness. I use pry bars and 2x4's from the backside, pushing outward until it looks right, then tack it. I do this every 5 or so inches until the outer curvature and shape is extremely close. Also, these quarters were damaged in a collision previously, and had filler covering much of the back halves. They did a good job straightening out the metal though, but it's still not perfect. I will work on it a little more before filler. It should be another fun one!
