6 speed manual or 5 speed auto?

    I have a '03 4x4 Taco now with auto, and it's fine on the trail, and as a daily driver. But, I'm jonesing for a manual again. How are mauals for wheelin?

    "supposedly" automatics are better for wheeling, however
    when I go looking for a used fj cruiser, its going to have to have 6 speed, rear locker and 4wheel drive option, so make sure you get that package ;)

    6-Speed is the only way to go... Automatics are like tampons, every pussy needs one.

    I was looking at new Tacomas and the 5-speed auto gets better milage than the 6-speed manual. What's up with that? I would assume the FJ will be the same.
