Hi gang, I have a 5 speed that came off a truck with a 2h motor. Can I use that same 5 speed to bolt up to a 3b engine? Maybe change shafts or something? Has anyone done this before?

You'll have to change the input shaft which will essentially equal a tranny rebuild.

He is correct. The F series gassers and H series diesels share the same transmission input shaft. The B series uses a longer transmission input shaft. Normally it is the other way around. Folks find an H55 from a B series and want to use it with their F series gasser. In their case the transmission input shaft would be to long.
