5 seater to 7 seater conversion?

My00 LC is a 5 seater

I want to by a back row of seats and convert to 7 seats

Anyone know what i would need to achieve this?

Assuming that you still have the floor hardware where the seats hook to, you don't need anything else.

I'd say it's doable, but probably cheaper to change it for a 7-seater.
You have to get the hardware for the seats (floor brackets), reinforce the floor for the seats and the belts, reinforce the D-pillar, and install belts.

It might not matter to you, but the 3rd row package also included the rear air conditioner controls (deleting the heater controls in the rear of the front console) and power rear quarter vent windows.

That depends on the market. For the US, it's probably right. For me, I wish I had the 2nd AC on my 7-seater, for about 3 days a year

Well the A/C is not a big deal for me as I don't usually have anyone in the back- although when I do, I'm sure they'll appreciate it. Those remote control rear vents are pretty handy, though. Now the blank in the back of my console mystified me for a few weeks until I put two and two together...

Does the 5 seat have the release pulls on the middle row? What about the internal release for the rear hatch?

cars aren't cheap here, my year 2000 costs around 25,000 USD
the 2003 version is 30k +

Well, if you weren't in Kenya (which I've been to a couple of times and visited your city) I could sell you my 3rd row seats!
But I don't thing that will happen anytime soon. Sorry...
