Can anyone suggest a good alignment shop somewhere near Chicago (within about 30 miles, Inc NW Indiana)?
I need a place with 4WD aligment experince that will adjust the caster/camber, not just set toe-in and say "done".

I got very uneven wear (outside shoulders worn) on my front tires (275/70-80 KO2). It seems obvious that I have too much positive camber and not enough caster.

I was looking at a two page basic "spec sheet" for the LC 100 and noticed that it called for a larger caster angle on LC with AHC. I recall it speced 3º caster for LC with AHC, vs 2.5º for non-AHC. I have the file -somewhere- need to find it.

BTW, I'm here visiting family and would like to get the alignment done before the return trip. Not a lot of specialist shops in Southern Maine so I thought there may be more options here.

Thanks in advance!

FixAuto Chicago at 4700 W Fullerton. ChiTown 4WD might be able to give you some names, but I don't think they have a rack and they are way out in the burbs.

I messaged ChiTown 4WD but have not got a response. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I found the spec sheet and confirmed:
The caster angle for UZJ 100 with AHC needs to be 3º05' vs 2º10' for non-AHC
Camber should be 0º0' for AHC vs +0º05'

Still looking for a good Chicago area alignment shop. Someplace that can adjust caster & camber, not just toe-in. Chi-Town did get back to me but did not have specific recommendations.

The shop does NOT have to be in the city. I'm fine with going out to the Burbs. Just want a place that will do a good thorough job. I'd like to get my steering boots changed with the alignment (I have the parts). I'll even consider a Toyota dealer service Dept if they do a good job and don't overcharge.

I had good luck with AAA in Wheaton for my S2000. They were able to do a custom track alignment for me with my desired specs for camber, castor, and toe.

Anyone else have a reccomendation?
I need to have the tire rods and steering boots replaced as well. I have the parts and I need a place that will work with me and not refuse to install good parts that I bring in (Toyota boots, 555 tie rods).
Shop does not need to be in the city. I'm willing to make the drive for the right place.
