Too bad you can't get it legally registered with a generator motor it's gotta be for onroad use.. Unless it's just a trail rig.

no when you register it they will check it to see if it's for on road usage, and with no turbo it's only 50 or 60hp.... BTW...

In CA, there's no safety check. If your vehicle is pre-smog, '75 or earlier, there's no engine check of any kind. Your rig never has to go to the DMV with you to get registered.
