45 body onto a 55 frame (1 Viewer)

Has anyone done this? I've be'en taking measurements and I'm pretty sure it'll fit nice .The reason for the 55 frame is they are much stronger and most of the 45 frames are rusted out up here in canada.The wheel base is very close. 45 springs in the rear.Not thinking of ruining a perfectly good pig.Found one with a shot body near me.

but it certainly will not bolt on.

FWIW, FJ45SWB are same same as FJ45LV frames except the two rear body mounts.

Please keep me posted, I am planning on a fj45 conversion myself, I am heading the fj40 route by extending the frame.

probably gonna be a month or two yet just bent the front housing on my 40 . Jeremiah said he could build me one fully gusseted from end to end so I'll see how that goes . I'll post pics when I get it .
