I have had a very clean 66 for about 2 years sitting in storage. I was building a very nice chasis for my 12ht 60 but decided to leave it alone. So the chasis in going under the 45. Thus the name, 100 engine, 80 front end, 62 frame and 45 body. Hope it goes well. The truck already had a v8 conversion from back in the 70’s so i don’t fill bad about cutting them up.

Would leave your 45 as she is. Would not destroy her history after more than 40 years.
Even the V8 conversion from the 70`s is a "historical piece of art" * in your truck.
All I would do is ....spend her some new skinny tires without white script. :)

* same as 1950`s Hot Rods these conversions made in the 50`s belong to them.

Que the haters... it’s only metal! Make it happen :grinpimp:

Excellent combination of parts, much more difficult than most of us have taken on. I wish i was more versed in the newer tech. Will make a GREAT vehicle that many of us wish was available in a modern format. Can't buy it build it!

This has nothing to do with the build but I looked on my desk and saw my Ktm motorcycle plat. It was a Radom plat given to me by the dmv. I will take it as a sign to go full steam ahead

Slight change of plans, going with original frame, late 40 disc brake axels, 87 hp 2f, h55 so it will look almost stock.

Nice!!

Slight set back the r151 is really to long so order and h55 and should be back in business in a couple of days. Thanks to Onur, Deo and Georg for keep the project moving quickly
