is it possible to convert the door window from the 2 glass to the single glass? i dont really want to buy doors from a wrecker or have them made up fibreglass. my door is very straight with no rust at all. thanks, Alec

I'd say "yes" Alec ...because Toyota made the same door for both applications.
And all the OEM Bailey channel and glass-wipers are still available for single-glass doors (but not for those with vent-windows).

from a guy who makes anything work, and i do mean that, by the time you gut out the original door, find the hardware for the new window, get the weather stripping right, get the new windows, ...
would it not be easier to just get the doors you want set up with the windows you want. that would be the sweet transition.
you done even have to do them both at once..

You could do it, but then you'd need the appropriate door rubbers, glass and weatherstrips. I don't think it's worth the trouble, especially considering that I can't really think of a good reason to do it?
