40 windshield on a 55

Anyone have pics of a 40 windshield on a 55? My eyeball micrometer says the 40 windshield is mounted at a 67.5 degree angle while the 55 is at a 45 degree angle.

I tried spotting a Michigan wheeler through a concrete rock crawl at Twisted Trails Park. He had an rednecked cherokee with an early bronco windshield frame and roof tar to seal. I'm pretty sure 'cruiser to 'cruiser could be done more tastefully...

Well, Probably there is someone, somewhere skillful enough to do that. I'm thinking that the 55 is wider at the A pillars though. Plus, if you did that you'd be losing the 2 things I miss in a 40...a hood that lifts all the way up and a windshield that folds down. Now, putting a 40 front clip on a 55 might...oh, wait, that'd be a 45LV...

Ah, nice. I have a pig and the windshield from a 40. The 55 windshield is wider at the bottom of the a pillars. Ill post some pics tommorow to show what I'm looking at.

Without completely re designing and constructing the 55s firewall/cowl, it would not be poosible to mount the 40 w/s on the 55. imo
