Did the stock bumper curve in alittle past the frame rails? or is it supposed to be straight? All the ones I've seen in person seem to have hit something and bent it in towards the tire

The stock FJ-40 front bumper will have a very slight curve to the rear on the outboard ends, starting just past the front frame horns.

I thought they were all straight. I've only owned 77's and a 78 though.

If they had the stock front bumper, it should have been strait between the frame rails, and curve just a bit as you get past the ends of the frame.
