40 in Warrenton, VA apparently looking for a new home (1 Viewer)

Guys, No affiliation but when I was out running errands the GF told me to take alook to my right where you make a right turn off of 29 to go into the Bloom shopping center there was a 40 there: Sure enough as I did a slow roll by en route to the Home Depot there it was. Grey, white bezel in the front yard with a for sale sign in the windshield. Not that you can tell much from a drive by at 15mph but no visible exterior rust at first glance. I have seen many worse off. Anyone know anything about it?

He's had it for sale for about 6 months at least now. I emailed him for some more pics but he refused to send any. It started out at around $5,900. Looks like the rear fenders were were cut out. He lives off of Bear Wallow Rd. behind the training center. He did say it has some rust , but the frame is solid.

I stopped to look at that one last weekend. The look only took a couple of minutes because of the hack job and the price ($5,800).

The ad sounds right. Also you guys have the location right. I hope that it finds a good home. This will probably be easier once the price aligns better with her condition.
