40 Heater question- passenger side images for reference (1 Viewer)

Hey gang, starting on my heater and vent for my 40 but have some questions. Photos are from the passenger side.
image 1- is this just a vent whole or is something suppose to run from it?
image2 & 3- This vent has a hook on the other side. What is attached here?
image 3 & 4- If the vent top is for the blower motor, what is this bottom opening for?

I have been trying to find replacement defrost hoses without the side window defrost for a 1977 FJ40. Any ideas on where to look?

Can tell the hole for the dash vent to blows on the door window mainly to defog. The clamp on the bottom is to secure the cable the open and closes the vent in the blower for outside air.

Here are a couple from my 1/78.

The bottom of #4 is a plastic screen that clips in the hole. The top is for the plastic vent, #2. It attaches to the firewall. You might be missing the small angle brackets.
#1 Is side window defrost hose connection. Should have a round hole on each side of dash below the windshield knob.
