Well, I made a decison to run the stock manifold on my fresh 2F. After getting into it, I noticed a crack in the mainifold. Im assuming this probably isn't worth fixing and I shold either find a replacement or pony up the money for Man-a-fre or SOR header system since the newer Tri-y isnt on the market yet.

I've read and read but haven't really seen any recent reviews. Thoughts? Anyone have a stock 79ish manifold sitting around? My end pieces are good.

I have 2. One is off a 1975, unsure the other. Not sure if either will work for your application.

Are you looking at this spot circled? I think that’s the zip tie shadow. I’ll go check it over.

It is not clear from your photos where or the extent of the cracks in your manifold. It is possible to braze cast iron exhaust manifolds.
 
No cracks in this one that I can see. Does have the egr port with a block off plate and the flapper comes in from the opposite side of yours, not sure if that matters. Flapper works smoothly

It is not clear from your photos where or the extent of the cracks in your manifold. It is possible to braze cast iron exhaust manifolds.
To the left of the yellow line. It's visible from inside the exhaust port. Hard to see with the rust/chunks.

And I bought this sweet flange so they can make the exhaust. It's the best part of my exhaust system so far. I'll check in with Mark.

Big shout out to @Skreddy for helping me out w a beautiful crack free manifold! Made it to exhaust shop and had them run exhaust inside frame dumping passenger side rear. Came out good. Glad to be done w that end of it. Maybe one of these days I'll find out if it will actually will run. Only running it's been doing has been running out my checking account.
 
I’m glad it worked out! Can’t wait to see running pics.
