Has anyone tried putting those 6 bolt 4 runner rims on a BJ70? I dunno if the back spacing is right but I think they would look crazy

    Hi Eric,

    I think Jimmy B has 16" 4Runner alloys on his BJ74.

I think the 4-runner rims are not 3.5" BS. Dunno if they are 4" or 4.5" BS. If they are 4" they will work, as I have run 4" BS uniques (16x7) in the past.

Maybe try a post in the Toyota truck section, or even general chat. Also, lots of information if you try a search...a quick glance got me a page full of threads for reading.

I've been told these are 4-runner rims, came on my BJ70. Backspacing is 3.5"

It may be a case of they look like the 4runner rims but have been backspaced for a Cruiser. Don't know.
