4" Old Man Emu Heavy Lift Driveline Angles (1 Viewer)

I have had this lift with the shackle reversal for 15 years without any issues. The u-joints have remained sound. The castor shims are installed as prescribed. There seems to be some controversy with the local shops as to the front driveline angle with one saying it is fine and the other saying the angle is severe and possibly creating excessive vibration. If so I am certain I cant be the only one that has experienced this. I am considering installing a CV joint in the front driveline as a remedial action attempt. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

You answered your question.

It's doubtful you're driving 55 mph for thousands of miles with the front hubs locked.

when engaging in 4 wheel drive there is vibration coming from the tcase area, mainly under deacceleration.
