I JUST bought my first LC! I'm excited to be part of the fraternity. My ride ain't runnin though . Can I put a 4.7L from a tundra into my 2000 (march) LC without any modifications? If yes, are there only certain years that will work? And does anyone know where best to purchase a 4.7?

Compression. Body and interior are good. I got it cheap, and 100 series around here are hard to find and overpriced

the only difference is the vvti version of the motor. came on 06-07 cruisers and i think 05+ tundras sequoias and 4runners.

Some parts from the original engine need to be swapped onto the Tundra engine...

swaped a 2005 tunda engine into a 2001 lexus lx470 this week

When you get stuff listed on car-parts, you are getting parts from individual local scrapyards. I'd expect you'd have to read local reviews and check their warranty policies. Good yards generally cover their parts for failure for a reasonable period of time, but don't cover labor. I don't think there is any protection from car-parts buying something because it is listed on car-parts? But that is just my opinion and might not be correct.
