Hey guys, Just brought 2003 landcruiser and thinking about converting it onto gas, could ne1 tell me if you can fit long range gas tanks in them, and if running on gas causes any problems, ive heard that you can only fit a 90L tank in them is this true?

Or Propane ?

Vic where are you at and what is the purpose of switching over ? Here in the US it doesn't make economic sense because propane costs more than gasoline and compressed natural gas is hard to come by.

There are a couple of board members here who have made the conversion.

Do you have a link for a kit you were considering?

I have a vapour gas injection system in mine with a 92L usable LPG tank . It works great with minimal power loss. i get around 400km out of it with city driving , it replaces the sub tank and the spare.

I can't remember if you car is IFS or not.If it is you can get 2 tanks that run alongside the chassis or a donut tank to replace spare ,and the gas tank that replaces spare wheel and fuel tank.I know a few people that have them in 80 and 100 series and have not had any hassles after yrs of use.
