I did a search and couldn't find what I needed.
I would like to swap out the diffs on my 60 diffs(3.70) for some 40(4.11) diffs I have sitting around. the 4.11's have a course spline pinion and a different flange bolt pattern.
Is there a vendor who makes a course spline flange with a bolt pattern to fit a '85 FJ-60
I think I remember seeing one that had several bolt patterns drilled into it, but I don't know if it was for a fine or course spline pinion.
Thanks,
Darryl

If my math is correct, Toyota kept the same 4 bolt pattern between 1974 and 1984, only the spline count was different. This means you should be able to obtain 1974 through 1977 pinion flanges:
(a) they should have the same 4 bolt pattern as your FJ60 drive shafts.
(b) they should have the coarse splines needed for your 4.11 gears.

You might find they use the same u-joint, if you have to swap the yoke(?) on the driveshaft to match the pinion.

I think the pilot diameter is the same so you could use the newer flange for the pinion and drill the old pattern into it as well. Then it will accept both. You do know that the fine-spline gear sets are substantially stronger, right?

I've done some measuring and some head scratching. after consulting the attached picture of flanges, mine is from my '77 FJ-40 and matches the diagram 60 mm X 68.5mm course spline.

however the 3rd out of my 5-85 FJ-60 matches none of the flanges shown. it measures 66mm X 66mm fine spline.
I was hoping for a quick and easy swap to try out the 4.11 gears. my truck is a daily driver, and due to lack of funds the last few years has seen zero off-road. My 40 has not even been driven in 3 years.

Doesn't look like anyone makes a course spline flange with the larger bolt pattern, so I would need to find a FJ-62 3rd or a new R&P set.
