3FE temp sensor in thermo hsg - what is part number? partsouq confused (1 Viewer)

Reviewing partsouq I found that the water temperature sensor in the thermostat housing is currently being made by Tama. It says I can use Tama P/N HS201 (Toyota P/N 8942212010). I searched on eBay and found one for a rather cheap price. Is this accurate? Can anyone confirm?

The temp sensors are a bit different between the 88 3FE and the 89 3FE I believe. The connectors are different. I can try and find the sensor I used in my early 88 3FE later.

Yes, I was seeing round ones and square ones. I believe mine is a square connector.

This one worked fine for my 1990. But as @red66toy said they might be different.
