3FE rebuild - replace both timing gears? (1 Viewer)

Opinion question from those that have experience. I am doing a rebuild on my 88 3FE. My fiber cam gear was still in great shape when I removed it to have the cam reground. I planned on replacing it with the all-metal ITM gear since that seems to be the only one available. Should I also replace the crankshaft gear even if there is no major wear? I don't beleive ITM makes the crank gear so it wouldn't be a "matched" set anyway. Not trying to do anything cheap, just trying to figure out of it's necessary. Appreciate the input

Crank gear is solid steel so you shouldn't have any issue just replacing the Cam gear.
