3FE and A440F

I've got an '88 3FE and A440F for sale. They came out of a truck with 296xxx. The previous owner just had the motor rebuilt, but someone forgot to put oil in the motor. So it knocks, but runs and drives. I started and drove it four times, loading it and unloading it onto and off of a transport trailer, and it did fine, but knocked.

I have not run the trans through all its gears, but it didn't slip or show any problems when I did drive it. Fluid is full and the correct color.

I will either sell the engine complete for $150 or I'll part it out. So if someone needs a part from the motor, just shoot me a PM.

The trans I'm putting up for $250, which includes T-case.

Motor and trans are located in north central Florida (Gainesville 32608). I can also ship on YOUR dime.

You could probably get a response in the 40 section. I know I've heard of guys converting the 2f to a 2FE (fuel injected 2f) using parts from the 3FE. Give me a shout if you're interested. We can work something out I'm sure.

yes it is not to hard we sell the 3fe conversion alot and we make the custom harness for that conversion. with the harness its not so tough.
