3f-e Intermittent throttle?/fuel? loss?

I really need some help diagnosing an intermittent problem on my '92 FJ80. It currently has 217k, and I've owed and maintained it for the past 7 years. Early this year I started having a strange, very intermittent problem. While driving, RPM suddenly drop to almost nothing but the engine does...

this is your FJ80 1992 3FE EFI system fuel filter assy , and copper crush rings , i can source you one , but there low cost item part , you can

simply get one from your local Toyota dealership parts dept . , and NOT have top pay any needed shipping , so either way ......

toyota MSRP is only : $45.98


so tomorrow order one up , expect it to back order for a few days , they will NOT have this part in stock , i am sure ......

I've replaced the fuel filter several times in the 7 years I've owed the truck. It was last replaced about 6 months ago. I've definitely never heard it referred to as "the black metal Canister efi fuel filter assy". Thanks for the suggestion though.
