Hi all. My 3F-E idles very rough when in Drive and stopped. Like sitting at a stop light, idle is around 600-700 rpm and shakey like my kibota diesel. The problem seems to get worse as the engine heats uip. When accelerating from a stop the engine is very sluggish between idle and 1500 rpm, after that is smooths out and feels like its firing on all cyls.

    any help would be great.

    -thanks, nate

If it's not an easy to see vac. leak you might adjust the 'golden screw' & see if that helps smooth it out.

Turn it very gently cw till it gently bottoms out. Engine should stumble..then start turning ccw. There is a suggested # of turns but I don't remember. Be sure to count the turns cw & if it didn't help you know where to set it back too.

Remember, as you turn it cw.. do it gently.. seat it softly.

    Good luck, John
