3B water pump pulley differences???? (1 Viewer)

Is there a difference between clutch type and non clutch type water pump pulleys? I went to mount my non clutch type pully on my new clutch type water pump and the holes do not align? seems to be a depth difference as well? anyone with experience with this? I guess I am in need of a clutch type water pump pulley now?

yes there is a difference, not between 3b, but between B and some 3B, different bolt pattern and different depth

l have a 3B non clutch type waterpump from a 3B engine rebuilt from ENNS toyota,depth and bolt pattern re different.

There is most likely a few different types. Stating the year and model along with your locality helps.

For references this website has each 3b water pump photographed and described. Fan clutch/non fan clutch types are not necessarily interchangeable.

It’s most probably with 8 mm fan studs, so the higher version. If it’s 6 mm, it’s the lower.
