3B turbo intake question

I did a search for this but couldn't seem to find anything.

I'm in the process of doing a turbo install on the 3B. One thing I have noticed is the air intake snorkel on top of the air box is too long, it would foul on the turbo.

What have you 3B turbo guys used? Did you get a snorkel off another vehicle which is shorter?

One solution I have seen...

is a "cut and turn" on the filter mount to direct intake where you want it, Easy job if you got welder and keeps it all factory looking.

on a 60 I was able to turn the top a bit... it fit. No idea with the 40. But maybe a bracket turn would help. Cut and turn like said above. Post a pic if you can...
