HI GUYS TODAY I INSTALLED A 13BT SET UP ON MY 3B II,EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY BUT ON MY LAST COUPLE OF TEST RUNS I RAN INTO A PROBLEM WITH WHAT I ASSUME IS HIGH OIL PRESSURE

ON ONE RUN THE ENGINE STALLED WHILE COASTING FOR NO REASON AND THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON

ON THE LAST RUN IT STALLED AGAIN WHILE CHANGING FROM 3RD TO 4TH AND THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON,THE ENGINE CRANKED STRAIGHT AWAY WITH THE KEY AFTER

DECIDED TO CALL IT A NIGHT AND PULLED IT INTO THE GARAGE AND POPPED THE BONNET AND IT LOOKED LIKE THERE HAD BEEN A OIL EXPLOSION ON THE INLET SIDE ON THE ENGINE

UNDER FURTHER INSPECTION I FOUND THE DIP STICK HAD BLOWN OUT AND OIL HAD SHOT OUT EVERYWHERE

WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAS AN IDEA WHAT IS CAUSING THIS,MY OIL PRESSURE GAUGE HAS STOPPED WORKING BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS IN THE PAST,I AM OCD ABOUT MAINTAINING THE OLD GIRL AND IT IS A VERY STRONG RUNNING ENGINE WITH 230000K ON THE CLOCK

WHEN I RAN THE OIL LINE THIS MORNING I RAN IT INTO A UN USED 10MM BOLT TO THE LEFT OF THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT,I HAD EVERY INTENTION OF TEEING INTO THE PRESSURE SENDER BUT PULLED THE BOLT AND OIL RAN OUT OF IT AND IT WAS 1/8 BSP SO I THOUGHT WHY THE HELL NOT

COULD IT BE THAT THE FACTORY CRANK CASE VENT IS INSTALLED INTO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WHICH COULD POSSIBLY RAM 8 PSI ON BOOST INTO THE CRANK CASE,BOTH TIMES IT HAPPENED AT FULL BOOST
 
I had a similar explosion happen when I got a kink in my PCV line. It eventually blew the dipstick out and covered the engine with half a liter of oil. If your PCV is routed in after the manifold it will definitely cause problems.
