I've swapped the B in my '80 BJ40 for a 3B from an '85 BJ70. the B had a two bolt exhaust flange witha loose slip ring that bolted to the exhaust manifold, the 3B has a 3 bolt flange on the manifold, and Toyota tells me that the slip ring is actually part of the downpipe, welded solid, does anyone make a 3 bolt slip ring? do I have to buy the $125 3B downpipe and cut and weld the flange onto my exhaust? Called Midas etc, they acted like I was from another planet. Any help would be appreciated...
