Looking to put on the thermostat housing gasket. I got a new gasket from Toyota and I was not expecting a metal gasket. Need some advice to install. Gasket eliminator, silicone? Which way to face the metal gasket? Away from head ?

All Toyota metal gaskets go on dry. Do not use any sealer/sealant/gasket on the metal gasket surfaces.
Are they a "crush gasket" ?
