Hello All I need to know what it takes to get something close to a 38'' tire under the 85 bummer (fj60). The sky is the limit on mods but cheaper is better. What do you guys think?

SOA...

Cool Thanks. I think the truck has a two inch OME kit on it so that should cover the little bit.

SOA with non sagging flat springs will fit 37's no problem. If you have a true 38" tire, you might need a 1" body lift or slight fender trimming. You could also try SOA with AAL's if you don't want to add a body lift.

Ditto on the AAL's. And SOA is definately the biggest bang for the buck, though it is a lot of work.
