79 bj40, with 3B, H55 5 speed...I'm currently running 33X9.5 BFG MTs, but they are pooched,
I am planning on putting power steering on this spring, and turboing the diesel, are 35X 12.5s too tall? Or go with 33 X 10.5s?

What say the masses?

What kind of lift do you have? Any body work/cutting done so far to your rear quarters? I run a 4" lift and it is otherwise fine. I run 35s and as it goes into paint I will discreetly trim my rear quarters. That is to eliminate the possibility of rub ever in the future.

i was also wondering can a 3B turn 35's with 4.11's

Turbo'd 3b with 4.11's and H55F will turn 35's on a 40 no problem! It'll go like stink. I'd love a 3B-T (ideally a 2H-T) on my SOA'd 40!

been running 35s on a 40 for decades with a 3B, NA it will be 5th gear useless, with turbo the 35s are about perfect.
if i remember correctly you already have the rear fenders cut.

go for it and never look back.

Rear fenders haven't been cut..yet...

but it's not like I'm cutting into prime 40 steel..it's glass, so it'd be easy peasy...
