350 sbc controlling stock tach? (1 Viewer)

I’ve got a 91 80 that had a 3fe in it and I’ve thrown a 350 sbc with a Holley sniper unit on it and I was wondering if there’s a way I can make the factory tach in the dash function. I’ve realized that there’s some data processing going on for any tach so I doubt the factory tach would work with a signal wire ran right to the original wire off the igniter. Any ideas?

Probably take a wire from the ignition coil and put a 6 to 8 converter in line. Than tie it in to original tach wire.
