W/4" SU and no body lift I had to do considerable "sawzall" work. Initially the springs were stiff enough that nothing rubbed. Then I used it a bit and the rear tires took the clearancing into their own hands. It also depends on the actual size of the 35" tire. The rear of the fender well took the brunt of it.
 
I am running 4" of lift sprung under axle.

With a little trimming out back you should have no problem. Closer to 36" means a bit more metal removal.

iv only got 3 in of lift and im about to stuff 35's on, but im cutting the crap out of the body
 
I've got a 4" lift, and so far my 38's aren't rubbing.

Haven't had it flexed up much yet, so we'll see.
