Hi, I just bought my first Landcruiser it's a 1971 FJ40. It has a 327 chevy in it already, but it runs really rough and smokes like a chimney. I was wondering if a 350 or 305 would bolt in or if I have to change something. It has a 5 speed, I'm not sure what kind and a toyota transfer case as far as I can tell. Thanks for the help.

Any SBC V-8 should bolt right up to your setup. Though I'm not sure about the newer ones.
