32.56” vs 33.1” (1 Viewer)

For 1974 FJ40 relay rod length with TREs, which is the correct standard length? The FSM for the ‘74 says 32.56. I have read in some threads that the correct length is 33.1. FWIW, the length of the relay rod with TREs that I took off is close to the 33.1.

I just measured my 74’ it’s the 33.1 (or just over a tad)

@JohnnyC, thank you for measuring that. I’m glad it’s the 33.1 as the 32.56 is not doable with the new relay rod I just bought.

No, my original one has a slight bend in it. The new one and the original one I have are the same length.

I bought it from Cruiser Outfitters. It’s an aftermarket made by Joint Fuji.
