Been thinking about options for engines in my soon to begin fj45 build. After considering different engines I'd need to buy I realised I have and old rusted dodge truck in the yard with a 318 v8. It was running fine last time the truck was used so would that be an option to put in the 45? I did a search and couldnt find anything so has anyone done it? Is it rediculously expensive and difficult to do?

i knew a guy in Calgary that ran a 318 decades ago in his 40.
personally i love the 318 engine.
not sure what adapter he used or anything, i only met him once.

i would say, give it a shot.
