OH hammers were included in Land Cruiser tool rolls starting in 1963. The only one of these three that would have been included in Land Cruisers is the one on the right. It's correct for 63-65 40 series, but the handle isn't original. It's about an inch longer than the original, plus the reverse side is very worn and difficult to read. It used to clearly say "450g" with "1" underneath it, designating 450g or 1 lb. $30 for that one, shipped to you if you are in the US.

The one in the middle is an old generic OH 1 lb. hammer. I'm not certain that variation, with the "OH" on the front and just "1" on the back, ever made it into Land Cruiser tool rolls. $20 shipped to you for that one.

The head of the hammer on the left is the same as the hammer that would have been included in 66-69 large 40 series rolls, but take a look at what's stamped on the handle in the last pic: Isuzu. So now we know OH supplied hammers for a variety of car manufacturer tool kits. $20 for that one.

All three for $50 if you so desire.

I'll be posting a couple of Maruki hammers (the brand included with 40 and 20 series LCs from 1963 and before) shortly also.

Since Dean is nearing completion of his ubiquitous hammer collection (😂) I’ll jump on this thread with a long standing dumb question about these tool roll hammers. I know what hammers are generally for, but what did Toyota intend for you to use the hammer in their tool rolls for? Pound on what and what for?

In aid of removal or disassembly of certain components. This is a picture inside a 1975 Land Cruiser Repair Manual that depicts the user with the hammer tapping (pounding) a brass bar to "remove the sliding shaft dust cover from the propeller shaft".
