I did a search but couldn't find anything regarding this. I just got an Axial SCX10 from my boss and it has the stock 3 link front and back. What if any benefit would I get from converting it to 4 link?

Possibly some more side hill stability at the cost of flex but not much, and flex isnt always the most crucial factor. Also if you are fighting torque steer, you can do some tweaking to help eliminate it w/ the 4 link and maybe a stiffer spring on one side. I have a couple four link plates off my old AX10 if your interested and they will work. (not sure what differences there are b/w mounts on ax vs scx models)

also my 3 link socket (Y link) part would wear out overtime, but they are cheap. I had one built both ways and liked each. TCS makes some nice 4 link plates with about 20 other vendors.

good reading in the newb and axial sections of rccrawler.com
