I went in today thinking I would handle the gutter rust, but the gutter rust handled me instead. So, instead I did filler work on the hood and fenders.

Noticed a small rust spot on the fro t of the hood. Realized it was a rust hole. Then realized the whole front of the hood is rusted. Not the old, have dead rust either. Fully active, nasty rust.

Filled the small screw holes from a wimpy roof rack. More filler sanding and all that. Waiting on a different hood to replace the bad rusty one. It’s getting close. Gutters and hood then it’s ready for primer.

Worked on gutters today. Cut off the old front gutters next to windshield and made new ones. Scraped out the old sealer on the underneath side of gutters, then sand blasted the gap all the way around the vehicle because there was rust creeping out in places. Also, I sand blasted the rocker panel pinch welds too. It was a good day.
