2H water pump question

I'm installing a new water pump in my 2H and noticed that the weep hole in the old one is on top. Shouldn't this be installed at the bottom of the pump when I put the new one in?

Well this is an illustration from the 2H/12HT FSM which if I'm not mistaken is showing it at the bottom:

So I'd go with that...

But in reality it probably matters little..

Thanks! That is how I've installed other water pumps, so it made sense that the weep hole is at the lowest point on the housing. I'll run it that way.
