Excuse me for being a noob on smoker swaps. FJ62 and motor both with mechanic.
Here it is in a nutshell:
*2H was mated to a manual, flywheel, clutch and bellhousing, 24v set up.
*FJ62 is built/wired to US specs of course...dead engine due to poor 2FE mod...factory 4 speed auto
*Being told he needs a different flywheel/flexplate and torque convertor to mate into the 62 4speed automatic.
*No plans to turbo, 400 compression across the board on the 2H.
*He is going to switch to 12v and 2 batteries
Questions:
1. Conversion kit for mating 2H flex/torque convertor to the gaser 4 speed automatic in the 62? Where and how?
2. Will this setup run correctly? ( I know it will be slow)
3. Ease/cost/pros/cons to just go with a manual H55? If I do can I use the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing,etc?
4. What are the current parts (flywheel, clutch, bellhousing)for 2H worth?
