2H owners-------what is this?

Doing some work on the rid (1986 Hj-60) the other day.....found something new....new to me anyway
On the (rt) side of the motor, about half way down, all the way back toward the tranny......there is an electrical connection (the connection is boomerang shaped) and the cable/wire is flat w/ a material covering. It is connected at the block side (boomerang shaped connection) but the other ends is cut or never used ???

A picture goes a long way. Is into the bellhousing? The 3b has its tach sensor in the bellhousing. Maybe the 2H does as well.

Sounds like it might be the Glow plug rail connector. I'll take a look at my engine after lunch.

low pressure sensor is on the lower right side of my engine. Not sure what you mean by boomerang shaped. My tach sensor is on the left side of my bellhousing and has a two or three pronged round male clip.

you just wait, I heard Canada is going to get Australia's weather and your getting ours when the poles reverse and tectonic plates shift.....so hang on winter is going to be a bear..
