I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with putting piston sleeves into late (1985~1990) 2H engines that were unsleeved blocks from the factory. I understand that the bore out is required is 55thou, and I'd like to confirm that along with any other considerations that might affect such a modification. How deep are the counterbores for these sleeves?

I'm trying to find a way to save my engine, which turns out to be of 1985 vintage, and is unsleeved.
